From cut paper to knitwear! Translating cut paper collage to 3D knit apparel is one step of this sweater’s slow fashion journey. I am finalizing details with my manufacturer so this short sleeve organic cotton sweater will go on sale soon! Then what will happen is these sweaters will only be created as ordered. This is the opposite of fast fashion. There is no wasted inventory or fiber with 3D knitting and on demand apparel production. We are also able to manufacture in the USA with imported 100% GOTS certified organic cotton. Selling ethically crafted, slow fashion. #hellyes #slowfashionbrand #modernknitwear

What an experience 🥹
When we were filming, I was only 6 months post-op, I wasn’t on HRT and I was very much trying to hide what I was feeling and what I was going through. I had so much shame and guilt. It was a very difficult period for me but I met some beautiful souls (in front of and behind the camera) who really helped me heal internally and through pottery, especially the final challenge, I found peace and relief. It was an intense experience but I loved every minute of it. This was so much more than ‘doing a show,’ it truly changed my life.
