I found a red 100% cashmere V-neck sweater that I absolutely adored for $6 while thrifting. I went into the dressing room with my cart up against the side of the door, so people knew that it was occupied, but also that the cart was in use. After trying it on with the first five tops, I put my items back in the cart and I went back in to try on my last two tops. When I opened the door, my cart was completely missing, and every single item in my cart was put back. An employee had done it. I ran around the store trying to find everything only to see my cashmere sweater in someone else’s cart. I have ASD so I fucking cried. She didn’t even apologize, just stared at me and said “Oh my bad.” I have never been able to find Cashmere thrifting and I haven’t found it since. It was exactly my size, perfectly fitting for my frame, would’ve been stunning with a white lace bralette. I still think about that sweater to this very day.
