Are you collaborating or stalling?

If you have a decision to make, do you consult your team, then a few trusted colleagues, then sleep on it and circle back for a couple more opinions?

You might be dealing with a lack of self-trust.

Don't get me wrong, getting external input is smart. But at some point, you have to trust your own judgment.

Here's a question worth asking yourself:

Am I looking for information I don't have, or reassurance that I'm making the right call?

Knowing when to stop asking and start deciding is part of leading at this level.
