It's day 3 (or should I say 'sa'?) of Bahasa Gaul for the @acicis.studyabroad #bahasasesh, and I'm here talking about Hokkien numbers.
Using these numbers fluently will give you instant cred in your bargaining at a market in Jakarta (probably don't try and pull it out in Bali though 😂).
Speaking of using them fluently, I just realised one of my numbers breaks the rules. Did you notice which one it was? It is what people use colloquially in Indonesia, but would confuse an actual Hokkien speaker that doesn't also speak Indonesian!
What should I make a video about next?
