We left everything on the beach!
A long day of racing at the World Rowing Beach Sprint Championships, and we gave it all.
Isabel raced a thriller against Portugal in the knockouts. It came down to the final run up the beach, and she was just short of a spot in the quarterfinals. Gutted, but what a fight.
With a storm on the way, the schedule was shuffled and Isabel and Michiel raced the Mix2x on the same day. They beat Italy in the knockouts, then met a strong Spanish crew in the quarterfinals. It was close all the way to the line, but Spain had the edge.
