truly a marking moment for me with Dr. Freeman.
Doc and I literally sat in his office for hours that day just talkingā¦about life, faith, and living a life of impact. We laughed, he dropped gems, and I most definitely cried. Ya know? Balance! š
Heās in eternity now, but 101 years well lived. Forever in our hearts. ā„ļø

This was me delivering my oratory for the Mr and Miss TSU pageant. During the process, I literally did not know what to write. I came to practice errrday with nothing to show (sorry Ashanti š) until Holy Spirit came like the week of with a midnight download.
God was leading EVERY STEP of that process and His faithfulness was beyond evident.
TOP: the last time I stepped on a stage as an actress. I was Shelby in Steel Magnolias my freshman year.

RIGHT: Golden Key Banquet. Dr. Dianne Jemison Pollard has also passed. She was truly a woman of excellence and a champion for each of us. Miss her. ā„ļø
With two women that I admire at my coronation.
Mrs. Clarice Freeman (wife to Dr. Thomas F. Freeman) a true force and such a jewel.
Dr. Glo is a powerhouse communicator and leader.
To stand next to them is an honor. ā„ļø

She saw me when I was ready to QUIT. I was over it. But she wouldnāt let me. She kept pushing me, giving me options, and investing in me. Iām forever grateful ā„ļø

Perks of going to an HBCU.
At TSU, I wasnāt just another number. My professors knew me and they brought my name to rooms that I wasnāt in.
We donāt have not one picture together (at least I donāt think) but Professor Ladonia Randle (@profrandle ) was one of my biggest advocates throughout college. Yeah, Iām putting you on the spot! She is the woman behind many of my major projects. Iām beyond grateful for all that youāve done for me and I celebrate you! ā„ļø
