Sunday. by @mariahbcampbell

at the top of the year, God gave me the word “strength”.

He reminded me of that this past week. ngl, I didn’t know what to really make of it when He gave it to me but this year has brought about some hard things.

So much that I could literally feel myself crashing.

But I could hear the echo of the word God spoke over me at the start of the year —STRENGTH.

Like a deep exhale.

As I navigate all the twists and turns that life has presented, I realize that I’m not doing it alone. God continues to lift me up.
Providing a safe refuge to rest.
Giving grace when I need it most.
Catching tears as they fall.
And speaking when I just don’t have the words.

Then sending my family and community for extra love and support.

I may have been feeling weak, but He has been my strength and I’m grateful. by @mariahbcampbell

We are called to repentance and relationship.

truly a marking moment for me with Dr. Freeman.

Doc and I literally sat in his office for hours that day just talking…about life, faith, and living a life of impact. We laughed, he dropped gems, and I most definitely cried. Ya know? Balance! 😂

He’s in eternity now, but 101 years well lived. Forever in our hearts. ♥️

“So I’m here to tell you like your grandmama used to say…trouble don’t last always”

This was me delivering my oratory for the Mr and Miss TSU pageant. During the process, I literally did not know what to write. I came to practice errrday with nothing to show (sorry Ashanti 😂) until Holy Spirit came like the week of with a midnight download.

God was leading EVERY STEP of that process and His faithfulness was beyond evident.

TOP: the last time I stepped on a stage as an actress. I was Shelby in Steel Magnolias my freshman year.

LEFT: Democratic Debate of 2020 —soooo many people on campus 😮‍💨

RIGHT: Golden Key Banquet. Dr. Dianne Jemison Pollard has also passed. She was truly a woman of excellence and a champion for each of us. Miss her. ♥️

With two women that I admire at my coronation.

Mrs. Clarice Freeman (wife to Dr. Thomas F. Freeman) a true force and such a jewel.

Dr. Glo is a powerhouse communicator and leader.

To stand next to them is an honor. ♥️

Man, this one right here…Professor Serbino Sandifer Walker (@serbinowalker )

She saw me when I was ready to QUIT. I was over it. But she wouldn’t let me. She kept pushing me, giving me options, and investing in me. I’m forever grateful ♥️

This is us at an HABJ event, along with An’Jonae.

Perks of going to an HBCU.

At TSU, I wasn’t just another number. My professors knew me and they brought my name to rooms that I wasn’t in.

We don’t have not one picture together (at least I don’t think) but Professor Ladonia Randle (@profrandle ) was one of my biggest advocates throughout college. Yeah, I’m putting you on the spot! She is the woman behind many of my major projects. I’m beyond grateful for all that you’ve done for me and I celebrate you! ♥️

the masks…jeeezzussssss 🤦🏾‍♀️😂

The fear of man is a chokehold to understanding identity.

Proverbs 29:25 tells us that “The fear of mankind is a snare, but the one who trusts in the LORD is protected.”

In this video, we talk about the fear of man and how it’s a demonic strategy to keep your true identity and destiny from being fully realized.

Gramcracker turns 75.

Our family is truly honored and blessed to have good ole Ola Marie. A true treasure. An arsenal of wisdom. A walking expression of love and the wittiest woman I know.

I realize that I’m living in a blessing that so many long for —so I don’t take it for granted.

I’m grateful to share so many moments with you and even more honored to call you Granny.

Happy Birthday Gram Bam!! Forever my girl 🎉🩷

The world constantly tells us that we are in a state of lack.

Not wealthy enough.
Not attractive enough.
Not skinny enough.
Not successful enough.

What if I told you that, through Christ, your identity was already secure? Where you have nothing to prove and everything you need for life and godliness is already provided? Yup, that’s right.

When we grow in relationship with Christ, we learn who we truly are through His eyes. Guarded by His truth about us and living in the abundance He died to give.

I don’t know about you, but to me, that’s EVERYTHING. by @mariahbcampbell

all you’ve been searching for, is found in Him.

So you don’t have to wonder, “who am I without ___?”

Because the all sufficient One, Jesus, wants to fill you — with love, truth, purpose, affirmation and salvation.

“this is my life.”

been sitting with a few things for the past week:

• the blood is truly beautiful. And I NEED it.

• my initial “yes” to the Lord was basically putting my life on auto-pay. No matter the ask, I vowed to give God a continual “yes” —been feeling the weight of it, but I truly believe it’s worth the cost.

• I will always praise the Lord!!

• I need to wash my hair.
