What day was it? October 3rd 😉
I had the honor of being a co-host at Portland’s Makin’ Groceries’s (first ever!) outdoor festival, Fallin’ On Fremont! This is just one out of the four drag performances I did that day. I also got to share some spoken word poetry while we waited for a musician to come to the stage, and I also vended my art! (With my momma’s help, since I was on stage a lot) @feralyearningcreations

Why ‘Make Love To Myself’ by @laurenruthward ? I will forever be my primary partner. I have held and loved myself through my deepest waters and storms, my highest highs, and I vow to never abandon myself, no matter the weather or storm. To keep growing. To keep loving. That’s how I know love is real — but I’m also content forever being mine. I am the safest partner I’ve ever had. And gods… it’s also a love letter to myself to not tolerate less than I deserve (and a big fuck you to the folks who have violated my consent)

Portland!! Go support your only local pay-what-you-can restaurant! Their Cajun food is such a treat. They’ve kept me fed when I have no money, whether I’m housed or homeless.
