I made a broom! Actually, I made two! 🧹✨
A couple of weeks ago, I took a broom-making workshop with
@studio_francine at
@needlesstudio . Having taken her spoon carving workshop previously, I knew it would be a good time and got
@simply_mi to join me!
We learned all about hand broom materials, tools, and traditional techniques. After crafting a practice broom to get the feel for it, we chose our broomcorn and decorative elements to design a custom piece with dried flowers. Everyone in class was so friendly, and Laura even brought delicious home-baked pumpkin bread to snack on. 🎃🍞
Do I have a new hobby? We'll see... 😏 If you're interested, @studio_francine is teaching another broom class next week—I highly recommend it as a fun, creative way to celebrate spooky season!
