It’s What I’m Reading Wednesday, and my brain is currently split between a haunted house and a Christmas strip club. Normal stuff. 📚
Japanese Gothic by Kylie Lee Baker: I’m 45% in and it is NOT what I expected, in the best way. The dual timeline is working for me, it’s dark and creepy, and there are so many secrets that I’m side-eyeing every single character. I have no idea where this is going and I need to know. Book club is Monday, so wish me luck finishing it in time. 🩸
Christmas Staycation by Meghan Quinn: Yes, Christmas is still two months away. No, I don’t care. Her newest holiday book came out yesterday, I started it last night, and page one already had me crying laughing.
