Marking 50 years of the TCS New York City Marathon’s five-borough course, NYON and @nyrr are honored to present the official 2026 marathon poster, reimagining Brooklyn-based artist James Grashow’s iconic 1983 print.

Drawing on Grashow’s intricate woodcut technique and distinctive portrayal of New York City in motion, this year’s poster pays tribute to the original while bringing a landmark piece of marathon history into the present.

The 18”x24” art print is available now online and in-store at NYON’s Nolita flagship.

The story continues at the @nycmarathon Expo next week. Starting Thursday (10/29), the commemorative poster and an Expo-exclusive limited-edition tote will be available at Booth #601. A commemorative mug will also be available for purchase at the Expo, online, and in-store.
