I love this time of year! I’m usually headed to Arizona for a sunny Christmas while planning out my goals for the new year.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve got some big, exciting goals going into 2026. Eased back into the running/gym life last week and fully jumping in to a program tomorrow with an accountabili-buddy.

Last Saturday I set up a table to help keep everyone fueled, hydrated, and running strong down Big Cottonwood Canyon to prep for all the downhill fall races — including @runtasticevents NEBO!

I alternate between regular (black) and caffeinated (white). I’m also crushing on @drinkmortal margarita salty!

Today we celebrated @twentyonerun’s One Year Anniversary! 🥳

Before TOR opened last year, I could not have imagined that I would love to get up early to run at 6 AM on a treadmill! I’ve never been a morning person, but now crave the early morning workouts. Who doesn’t love early morning dance club vibes with all your friends!?

And let me tell you — this place is pure magic! ✨ I’m so grateful for the new people I’m always meeting and friendships I’ve been able to strengthen. I tell everyone that has any interest in running at all to come run with our amazing community at TOR and possibly work up to running a future @runtasticevents race! #alwaysrecruiting

Thank you to @sylviabedford, @jordymadd, @jeremyranck, and @addielillian for spreading so much joy through connection and encouraging all of us to accomplish both big and little milestones. Like my amazing 41-minute marathon PR within a 6-month span last year — from Tokyo in March, pre-TOR, to Berlin in September after weekly TOR running classes!

I’m excited to continue cheering everyone on and see what we can accomplish together going into year ✌🏼

Pro-tip when traveling to int’l races: Put the name of the race you’re running in big letters on a ziplock bag that has your fuel for the race, and then duplicate it in your other bags. That way if they do a search, hopefully they will take pity on you that you’re traveling all that way to run a race in their country! 😝 So far so good! Haven’t had any confiscated — yet! 🤞🏼

And ALWAYS travel with all your race gear in your carryon luggage. I’ve lost a few bags traveling to Europe, but lucky not a race bag!

I stocked up at @thefeedme on @maurten_official and @genucan for the big day, plus ordered extras at the race, just in case my plan failed. But at least I got this cool Maurten bottle with all my extra gels. You can never be too prepared!

I cannot believe it’s already been 3 months since I ran my 5th marathon in Berlin! How is time flying by so fast?!

Looking to get stronger and run faster in the new year. And of course I’ll be training with all my friends at @twentyonerun! I think a sub-2 half marathon in 2025 sounds like a good goal to aim for!

Is this a challenge for you, too?! 😝 Fell in love with @maurten_official gels while training in my last marathon cycle. And loved the product bundles from @thefeedme!

Every 30 minutes during my long runs I eat half a @maurten_official gel, alternating between the Gel 100 white caffeinated and the black non-caffeinated ones. It gives energy to help keep me going while also not upsetting my stomach...which is always a green flag! 💚
