One thing I learned from turning part of our homestead into a photography business is that building a pretty space is only half of it.

When we first opened the Greenhouse, we didn’t even have a separate restroom for guests, which meant people occasionally had to use the one inside our house. Definitely not something we wanted to keep doing.

So we added our Kubo, which has honestly become one of the most useful spaces on the property. It’s a restroom, a little farm shop, and even doubles as a photo op spot.

It was another big investment, but one that made so much sense for the experience we’re trying to create here.
