My first ever weekend trip without my husband or kids… and I think we accidentally created the perfect girls’ weekend. 😂📚

My best friend/business partner and I decided to mix business with pleasure while traveling for a book fair, so we gave ourselves a little extra time, spent the night, and made the trip to Easley, SC to visit the Book Warehouse Outlet.

And honestly… saying the weekend was awesome is an understatement.

I got to mediate my first-ever author panel with NONE OTHER than Lauren Connolly and Lauren Evans! 🥹 I was an absolute nervous wreck going into it, but they made me feel so welcome and comfortable, and I ended up having the BEST time. I’m so incredibly thankful for the opportunity and for both of them making an experience I was so nervous about one that I would happily do again. 🤍

We also finally stopped by TROPE Bookshop, which I had been dying to visit. The store was absolutely amazing, and of course I couldn’t leave empty-handed… so naturally, I bought two books. 😂

Sunday was all about the Book Warehouse Outlet! This place is definitely an unconventional book-shopping experience, but it was SO much fun. They have a huge selection, although if you’re looking for a very specific title, this probably isn’t the place to go. We found some amazing books for ourselves AND our little ones, though!

And yes… we bought enough that there’s definitely a haul coming. 👀📚
