From dated to deliciously moody! 🤎

When I first found this dresser at my local @habitat.lakeside, I honestly didn’t want to paint it. There’s something special about leaving a piece in its original finish, but after looking it over and considering its next chapter, I changed my mind!

I decided to give it a rich, cozy makeover using Chocolate Brown by @fusionmineralpaint , with a touch of @rustoleum Metallic Accents in Gloss Rich Brown to add depth and a subtle, beautiful sheen. 🤎

I kept the hardware that came with the piece, although I’m not convinced it’s not original. To finish things off, I added gorgeous brown floral drawer liners for a little surprise inside. 🌾

I love how this piece now has that deep, vintage-inspired look while still showing off its classic lines and beautiful details. Sometimes the right paint color can bring a whole new personality to an old piece!
