✨The Kingdom Hutch✨ salvaged from a farm house down the road, rebuilt the wood counter that crumbled when it was pulled out and built a new back for it since originally it was built into a wall. The original glass sliding windows survived!! Repaired. Rebuilt. Repainted. Remade. 🖤

From dated to deliciously moody! 🤎

When I first found this dresser at my local @habitat.lakeside, I honestly didn’t want to paint it. There’s something special about leaving a piece in its original finish, but after looking it over and considering its next chapter, I changed my mind!

I decided to give it a rich, cozy makeover using Chocolate Brown by @fusionmineralpaint , with a touch of @rustoleum Metallic Accents in Gloss Rich Brown to add depth and a subtle, beautiful sheen. 🤎

I kept the hardware that came with the piece, although I’m not convinced it’s not original. To finish things off, I added gorgeous brown floral drawer liners for a little surprise inside. 🌾

I love how this piece now has that deep, vintage-inspired look while still showing off its classic lines and beautiful details. Sometimes the right paint color can bring a whole new personality to an old piece!

What do you think? Would you have left the original finish or painted it Chocolate Brown? 👇

🤎 A beautiful antique wash stand with craftsmanship you just don’t see every day!

This piece features lovely original pin-and-cove joinery (also known as Knapp Joints), a reminder of the care and skill that went into furniture making generations ago. A little fun fact: this detail can date a piece to 1870 - 1900. 😯

Due to some water marks and discoloration and scratches, I stripped and refinished the top to bring back the natural beauty of the wood, then deepened the tone of the entire piece to soften those orangey undertones and give it a richer, more timeless look. The original hardware was carefully cleaned and brought back to life, and fresh drawer liners add a finishing touch inside.

It was a no-brainer preserving the character and history of this particular antique piece. I think I was able to give it a refreshed look that feels right for todays homes. 🤎

It would be perfect for a small dry bar or a cute coffee station or perhaps as a larger night stand or for an entry console. The back “harp” does screw off, but honestly, I think it lends so much character and charm as well as offering some practicality. 😉🤎🫶🏻

✨ From Well-Loved to Wonderful Again ✨

This antique jelly cupboard has been given a whole new life! 💚

She was definitely a project when she came to me — including water damage along the base that needed some extra love and repair. I stripped the entire piece, repaired the damaged areas, and added new, decorative trim inside and out to give her some of the detail and charm she deserved.

For the finish, I chose Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint in Layla’s Mint — such a soft, timeless color for an old cupboard like this. 💚 I added some layers of colors in areas for added depth & patina. The interior was painted in Antique White by General Finishes. I sealed the exterior with Hemp Oil, which brings out the beautiful depth of the milk paint while giving her a durable finish.

The original hardware was kept, cleaned up, and painted so it could remain part of her story while looking fresh again.

I love the little details on this one — the bead trim, the interior scalloped detail, the scalloped feet, original hardware, and all those imperfections that remind you she’s an antique with a history.

A little repair, a little restoration, and a whole lot of love. 🥰

What do you think of her transformation?

✨ A little cabin-ready transformation ✨
✨ A little cabin-ready transformation ✨

This beautiful vintage Ethan Allen Baumritter dresser is headed to its new home up north, where it will be right at home in a cozy cabin. 🌲🏕️

I gave this classic piece a fresh new look in Stars At Night by @melangepaints — a rich, moody navy that feels like a clear night sky in the woods. 💙🌙

The newly refinished natural color wood top, done in Weathered Oak by @minwaxusa adds warmth and keeps a bit of that rustic character, while the new brass hardware gives it a clean, updated touch without taking away from the timeless lines of the dresser.

I love when an old piece can be given a completely new life while still feeling like it belongs exactly where it’s going. And I think this one is going to fit beautifully into its new cabin home. 🌲✨

A friend asked me to give her vintage dresser a fresh new look. She wanted it painted all one color—specifically @generalfinishes Antique White.

She didn’t send the hardware with the dresser, but she did send me a photo of what she intends to use. Thanks to a little AI magic, I was able to superimpose the hardware onto the dresser so everyone could see how it would look. I even found a skeleton key that works perfectly for the top center drawer!

I think it turned out beautifully, and I hope it’s exactly what she envisioned. It’s always so rewarding to help bring someone else’s vision to life. ✨🤍

Elegant vintage buffet refinished in a rich matte black for a bold, timeless look. Featuring classic paneled doors, warm brass hardware, and graceful curved detailing at the base, this piece blends modern sophistication with old-world charm (with a surprising pop of color inside). Spacious storage includes a new full top drawer and double cabinet doors, making it as functional as it is beautiful.

Small but full of personality 🖤

This little stool proves that statement pieces don’t have to be loud to stand out. The hand-painted pattern adds just enough playfulness, while the black finish keeps it grounded and versatile.

Styled simply with a woven rug, soft textures, and a touch of greenery—because sometimes less really is more 🌿

Perfect as a side table, plant stand, or that extra seat you didn’t know you needed.

Some chairs are meant to sit in.
This one is meant to be experienced.

The front showcases rich blue tones with hand-gilded gold detailing, while the back reveals a hidden surprise — romantic florals layered with antique script.

Two completely different personalities.
One unforgettable piece.

Because beautiful furniture should look just as stunning leaving the room as it does entering it.

💫 Perfect for a dressing room, boutique, reading nook, or anywhere you want a little wow.
