๐ป๐๐คก Had a FRIGHTFUL time at @caerheritage today!๐๐๐น๐ป

๐ Today was the start of a 3-week course on making rings out of antler using tools as the Vikings did - large files, rasps etc๐๐ฝ๐ช๐ฝ
๐ช๐ฝAnd being vegan, I quietly asked if any deers had died for this, but NO, thank f**k!๐๐๐๐ผ
๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ Itโs Red Deer from Scotland, and they shed their antlers every year to grow new oneโs!!!

Pieces were cut, we picked a piece to start working on & just got on with it!
Filing down the inside of the antler was tough work but we did i!๐ช๐ฝ
Feel like Iโve had a 2-hour bicep workout!!๐คฃ๐คฃ๐ช๐ฝ
Next week will be smoothing the outer part and smoothing/rounding itโฆ
๐ I just love being here, itโs so therapeutic for me and BLOODY AWESOME AS WELL!!!๐ป๐
P.s As you can see in pics 1 & 2, the scary dudes either side of me soon became good friendsโฆ.๐๐คก๐คฃ๐คฃ๐
