Emzari Kiknavelidze is a Georgian painter whose work sits at the intersection of figuration and quiet surrealism. His elongated female figures, rendered with cool restraint, feel both intimate and deliberately distant - bodies treated as architecture rather than sentiment.

Across his mid‑period cycles, he builds atmosphere through muted palettes, textured surfaces, and symbolic objects that never fully explain themselves. The result is a calm, suspended world where gesture matters more than narrative.

Kiknavelidze’s paintings circulate widely in private collections across Europe and the US, often shown in Odessa and Tbilisi exhibitions. His work is recognisable by its discipline: a controlled, almost monastic approach to form that gives each figure its quiet charge.
