Such a great 35th Birthday weekend! Thanks for all the birthday wishes. So thankful to share these past few days with folks I loved. I wanted to do it big because I have so much work ahead of me! Swipe to see memories of the good times.

Reintroducing myself to the world as “Rie Culture”

Rie= My nickname since childhood
Culture= Stems from my newer identity as a “cultural worker” that I took on a couple years ago.
Cultural Worker= an artist/culture producing person who uses their art as a revolutionary weapon.

My previous stage name no longer aligns with me. My Hollywood “Status Quo” dreams are long dead. I dedicate my current/future works(acting, writing, film making etc) to the people as I continue to evolve as an radical black feminist, Pan African socialist, and organizer rooted in the black radical tradition.

Anyway stay tuned for more work to come. 😊

Sidenote: Fuck what anyone has to say about us childless, husbandless black women past the age of 30! Still fine as fuck, what about it? ❤️
