Hands down the best bite I’ve ever had from a perch has to go to this guy. I don’t know what my poor Ned did to deserve that sort of treatment but my word was it vicious!🤣

I actually forgot the scales and measure on this session so I’ll never know what the stats were but who cares when the bite is that good. I’ve had quite a lot of scratchy bites recently so it’s nice to get one that felt properly solid. There’s little better than seeing baitfish fly all over the place as your line cuts through the water!

With plans for Halloween and my next couple of days down in Salcombe I’ll have to wait until next week to get back out, but it’s been a fun couple of weeks fishing regardless. Best of luck if you’re out this weekend, oh, and if anybody has any costume suggestions let me know - I’m struggling for ideas… 🎃
