TUNGSTEN × CRAW × SPIKES Finally the rivers are allowed to come up a bit and the fish are starting to feed properly! by @fishing_tungsten_
Carolina × Tungsten This absolute BEAUTY of a Perch took a small Pin Tail at distance, presented on a light Carolina Rig [5.3g FiTU Bullet Weight]. When you're far out there, in or near current, Tungsten is a GAMECHANGER when it comes to knowing what your lure is doing down there. Pure Contatc. A subtle moving of the line to the side was enough to detect the bite. Big City Perch. by @fishing_tungsten_
Hands down the best bite I’ve ever had from a perch has to go to this guy. I don’t know what my poor Ned did to deserve that sort of treatment but my word was it vicious!🤣 I actually forgot the scales and measure on this session so I’ll never know what the stats were but who cares when the bite is that good. I’ve had quite a lot of scratchy bites recently so it’s nice to get one that felt properly solid. There’s little better than seeing baitfish fly all over the place as your line cuts through the water! With plans for Halloween and my next couple of days down in Salcombe I’ll have to wait until next week to get back out, but it’s been a fun couple of weeks fishing regardless. Best of luck if you’re out this weekend, oh, and if anybody has any costume suggestions let me know - I’m struggling for ideas… 🎃 @fishing_tungsten_ 6g cheb and @shimano_predator Poison Adrena with the Alderbaran BFS getting it done! #perchfishing #perchfishinguk #lurefishinguk #riverthames #bfsfishing by @fishing_tungsten_
One step further! The process of creating our own first bait has taken ages. Like actual years. Now, after working with two different designers, going through at least 6 different Prototypes, many material options and catching many big fish during the testing, i am finally 100% satisfied and we are getting the mould for our first two sizes produced. We all know it, there is many Craws on the market. Plenty good ones, some not so much. All of them will catch when they're presented correctly and fish feed. I was sometimes still missing a thing here and there though and this bait combines absolutely everything that I think is necessary for a Craw. I will of course run you through the lure in full detail once it is available, on here and over on @lure_fishing_tv_ 's YT channel. But for now, this is a big step, over to finalising the first colours and the name! 😛🤯. Tight Lines! by @fishing_tungsten_
Whilst I’m not finding much time to get out at the moment I’m trying my best to make it count! I only managed an hour last week on a new stretch but sometimes that’s all you need. 4 fish in the space of about 10 minutes, a 2.12, a 2.7, a 2.5 and this rather plump 3.10! She was so wide across the back when she first came up I thought it was even bigger! It’s great to see really healthy looking perch like this one, hitting the lure hard and fighting really well. They’ve obviously still got a lot of energy as they were chasing each other up on the way in. Something I don’t really see all that much where I usually fish. I’ll certainly be back as I reckon there’s a few bigger ones to be caught, I just need to spend the time picking it apart! Having said that I’ll probably now blank on my next 3 visits…🤣 @fishing_tungsten_ cheb doing the business on my favourite Poison Adrena BFS from @shimano_predator 🖤 #perchfishing #bigperch #lurefishinguk #baars #barsch by @fishing_tungsten_
