Ethical montetization in this community has been a huge conversation. Here’s how we’re giving back
1. Book Drop- we send 3 indie books to substack subscribers each month and 60% is paid right back to the authors
2. We divvy up episodes and save spots each season for only indie authors and pre-published writers to chime in
3. Ad space is only sold to indie authors to promote their books or companies we feel support the indie community in positive ways

I love you and your podcast for how you give back! The fact that you’re like “no, I don’t want your mattress ad. Instead, let’s put an ad in for a book.” That’s just genius and really 10/10 behavior!
