👆ON REPEAT 🤯 One moment, he makes you feel like a Queen.
Desired
Cherished
Beautiful
Special
Welcome
..

He makes you feel wanted, comfortable.
He gives you affection, attention and tenderness.
You feel the connection.
You see the good in him.

And then, something changes.
The same person who made you feel so good - crosses your boundaries.
He dismisses your feelings.
He makes you question your own experience.
He turns your reaction into the problem.
He tells you that you’re playing the victim.
And suddenly, you’re no longer the Queen.
You’re the problem.
You’re too sensitive.
You’re overreacting.
You’re the one who needs to explain herself.

And when you dare to speak about what happened, he feels attacked. He denies your experience. He is even threatening you if you dare to tell the truth about what just happend‼️🚩

This is the disorienting part: the person who made you feel cherished is now making you feel small, confused & scares you. So you try to leave..

And then, sometimes, the tenderness returns. He changes roles
He treats you well again.
The connection feels beautiful.
You laugh together.
You feel close.
You don’t want to leave anymore.

And you wonder:
How can someone who makes me feel so good also make me feel this way?

You remember the Queen.
You want to believe in the Queen.
You want to stay in the moments that feel beautiful and forget the moments that hurt and scared you. All the moments you were about to leave & all the moments you isolated yourself & avoided these manipulative, gross, needy, energy vampires.

But here’s what I want you to remember:
You don’t have to decide whether someone is a Queen-maker or a Monster. You have to look at the whole pattern of how they treat you.

The beautiful moments can be real.
And the harm can be real, too.

One does not erase the other.
You can feel attracted to someone who has hurt you.
You can miss someone who has crossed your boundaries.
You can enjoy their tenderness and still recognise that their behaviour has made you feel unsafe.

This doesn’t make you weak.
It doesn’t mean you wanted to be hurt.
And it doesn’t mean you are choosing to be a victim.

But love is not measured only by how someone treats you when everything is going their way. . Look at how they respond when you say no.When you express discomfort. When you tell them they've hurt you. When they don't get what they want. . Can they listen without humiliating you?Can they take responsibility without making you pay for speaking up?Can you remain a person with boundaries, feelings and a voice - even when those things are inconvenient for them? . Because you should not have to earn the Queen treatment by staying silent about the Monster moments. . You shouldn't have to be agreeable to be respected. You shouldn't have to abandon your boundaries to preserve the connection. And you shouldn't have to prove that you're a good person before your no deserves to be honoured. . The goal isn't to hate the person you once felt close to. It's to stop letting the beautiful moments convince you that the painful ones don't matter. . You can hold compassion for someone's humanity without accepting their harmful behaviour. . You can acknowledge the connection without sacrificing your safety. And you can walk away while a part of you still wishes things could have been different. . You don't have to stop loving the Queen moments before you start protecting yourself from the Monster moments. . You only have to stop ignoring the whole truth. . Have you ever felt like a Queen with someone one moment, only to feel small, confused, blamed or scared and threatend the next?.Did the loving moments ever make you question the hurtful ones?.When you expressed a boundary, were you met with accountability or made to feel like the problem?.Can you acknowledge what was beautiful about a connection without excusing what hurt you?.What would choosing yourself look like if you didn't have to stop wanting someone first?.You can miss the Queen moments and still choose not to return to the Monster. . You shouldn't have to silence yourself to keep being treated like a Queen.
