Four engines, one last Frankfurt takeoff, and a captain who’ll remember this one. 💙✈️

@lufthansa’s Airbus A340-642 D-AIHZ rolling along Taxiway Lima towards RWY 25C at @frankfurtairport, bound for Washington Dulles.

In the left seat: none other than @quax747. And this one was special for him. His very last takeoff in the A340-600 out of Frankfurt.

And the timing couldn’t have been tighter: just four more takeoffs followed before this four-engined giant was retired from the fleet. A goodbye to the type, right at the very end of its story.
