Throwing it back to Sammy Mougin’s 2nd Birthday celebration 15 years ago. We are so grateful for our bluegrass pals! You might recognize several mentors in this video - Sam Bush, Becky Buller, Ondra Kozak, Henrich Novak, Ferrell Stowe and Stephen Mougin who have a huge impact on the youngest generation of bluegrass musicians. Sammy became a musician and plays bass with The Sullivan Sisters. He is also a member of the IBMA Youth Council and involved in youth programming at the Conference. One of the highlights this year for us was seeing Sam Bush jamming with youth in a room packed with kids and teenagers. The other boy in the video is Haden Faris, who is also a musician. #bluegrass #mentors #bluegrassjams #youth #tbt
