It’s not been the easiest of weeks on the workshop build - it turns out there’s a reason almost no one puts an apex roof on their DIY workshops / garden rooms 😅 - but I had some friendly faces (and more importantly helping hands!) keeping me company! I talk about the physical impact of doing renovations / garden projects / manual labour solo, quite a bit - but the mental impact can be just as hard some times! There was a moment this week where I sat on the floor of the workshop, staring up at the non existent roof and thought ‘I don’t think I can do this.’ That’s when you need people to pick you up off the floor and tell you to give it one more go. Thanks @wearekingingit for your help! (And to one of my excellent neighbours and his friends) - there is a chance this thing will get a roof before winter! 💪
