She isn't vain. She was taught, for generations, that lighter skin means better. So she bought a cream from an unlabeled jar.
I'm not telling her not to bleach. I'm saying read the label, buy from NAFDAC-registered sources, and don't gamble your kidneys on an unregulated product.
Her skin was never the problem. Yours wasn't either.
