The joke writes itself, and that is the problem. The plan is to vote for Democrats to own Israel: hand the House and the Senate to the party of open borders, impeachment, and endless investigations, all to punish the one country in the Middle East that actually fights the people chanting death to America. The cartoon has the physics right. The man pulls the trigger, the blast goes backward, and the flag on the other side does not even flinch. The only person bleeding in the panel is the shooter.

And look at who he would be voting with. The campus encampments that spent last year harassing Jewish students. The squad members who call Israel an apartheid state and vote against Israel aid. The democratic socialist mayor of New York, who built his career on the same cause. These are the people who want Israel erased, and they are also the people who want the border erased, the deportations stopped, and the administration that carried them out investigated and dismantled. Fuentes’s own pitch included letting Democrats take the House and impeach the president. The impeachment is not the side effect. It is the point, and the point lands on his own side.

Israel will survive a Democratic midterm. Israel has survived worse than a livestreamer’s tantrum. What will not survive is the agenda the tantrum claims to defend: the closed border, the removals, the end of the foreign wars, the America First platform the groypers say they want. A Democratic Congress kills all of it in a week, and the people cheering loudest will be the ones who hate Israel and hate the groypers in equal measure. That is not owning anyone. That is volunteering to be the punchline, and the punchline votes on Tuesday.
