Demonstrating my compact, self contained gold cleanup system that I put together. First off is “The Boss” mini sluice made by Prospectors Dream. It features their patented “Dream Mat” which is unlike anything else on the market. This setup is powered with clean, renewable and sustainable energy provided by my Jackery solar generator. I slightly modified a mortar tub so I am able to recycle my water in between sampling and panning. The tub sits atop a collapsible aluminum Coleman camp stove stand, made in the 60s, and weighs less than a tall can of Lite. The pan seen here is a Garrett Gold Trap. It’s a bit more compact than my Garrett Super Sluice or my Minelab pans. Check out how the black sand (Magnetite) sticks to the Neodymium magnet! Everything fits nice and securely in a 6 gallon bucket that doubles as a seat so I can enjoy an ice cold RC Cola (the official soda of “old fashioned” people like myself.😆) I like to keep things simple, no nonsense, and light enough to be easily packed into remote areas, where water is limited, and only accessible by foot or my trusty trail motorcycle. #prospectingforgold #notagetrichquickscheme #consistencypaysoff
