Quando si calmano le acque…the Italian equivalent of “when the dust settles”….sort of😉

Now that the storm has passed we can truly look upon, with pride, our new baby @bambino_mtl

From left to right…..

First @thechebz , our new addition, the new blood “sangue giovane” ~ he wasn’t here for most of the trials and tribulations that it took to build this restaurant but his efforts in breathing some new life and excitement into our other venues certainly gave us the time and space needed to breath life into her. Hospitality is who he is.

I’m next 😁 This was a tough one. Bambino took nearly 7 years to come to life. Everything that could go wrong, went wrong, and then some! I had to redesign and envision every choice of material I was making in my head and pray. I feel like my prayers were answered. My mother is memorialized here❤️

@justin_sabini , our General Manager, and just like the picture our center. His years of experience in hospitality, wine and Italian cuisine place him amongst the best in the city. He’s literally Bambino, living and breathing. We could not have opened so successfully without his skill and knowledge.

Next we have @chefandrewba , the executive chef for @jeganticgroup , our chef and partner. When things fell apart he stepped up, in a big way. He lead and coordinated the last months of our build out and dedicated himself to the project in a selfless manner. While working working 60 hours a week I asked “What is happening with our cuisine? You’ve had no time to develop it!” He answered by saying, “don’t worry I’ve been preparing for this my whole life”

A few days later he served one of the best and most expertly engineered menus I’ve ever tasted. He’s a star. Point Finale.

Finally we have @kajekandiah . Like our beautiful restaurant….Kaje has balls. He walked, stumbled crawled and cried with me through all the struggles, and struggles there were many. His strength and dedication helped keep things together and at times that was all that was needed. His support and trust in my crazy ideas, while him standing strong when he was most needed helped tremendously along the way.

And that’s that. We tried our best. We hope you love her.
