Quando si calmano le acque…the Italian equivalent of “when the dust settles”….sort of😉

Now that the storm has passed we can truly look upon, with pride, our new baby @bambino_mtl

From left to right…..

First @thechebz , our new addition, the new blood “sangue giovane” ~ he wasn’t here for most of the trials and tribulations that it took to build this restaurant but his efforts in breathing some new life and excitement into our other venues certainly gave us the time and space needed to breath life into her. Hospitality is who he is.

I’m next 😁 This was a tough one. Bambino took nearly 7 years to come to life. Everything that could go wrong, went wrong, and then some! I had to redesign and envision every choice of material I was making in my head and pray. I feel like my prayers were answered. My mother is memorialized here❤️

@justin_sabini , our General Manager, and just like the picture our center. His years of experience in hospitality, wine and Italian cuisine place him amongst the best in the city. He’s literally Bambino, living and breathing. We could not have opened so successfully without his skill and knowledge.

Next we have @chefandrewba , the executive chef for @jeganticgroup , our chef and partner. When things fell apart he stepped up, in a big way. He lead and coordinated the last months of our build out and dedicated himself to the project in a selfless manner. While working working 60 hours a week I asked “What is happening with our cuisine? You’ve had no time to develop it!” He answered by saying, “don’t worry I’ve been preparing for this my whole life”

A few days later he served one of the best and most expertly engineered menus I’ve ever tasted. He’s a star. Point Finale.

Finally we have @kajekandiah . Like our beautiful restaurant….Kaje has balls. He walked, stumbled crawled and cried with me through all the struggles, and struggles there were many. His strength and dedication helped keep things together and at times that was all that was needed. His support and trust in my crazy ideas, while him standing strong when he was most needed helped tremendously along the way.

And that’s that. We tried our best. We hope you love her. by @kajekandiah

@bambino_mtl has been a heart and soul project of ours for over 4 years now. As we count the final weeks down to our grand opening we decided to visit the Mecca of La cucina Italiana in North America, #newyorkcity

Over the next few days we will taste and revel in the best the city has to offer from street style, home made "à la nonna” and the trendiest groundbreaking hotspots in town!

We are so excited to learn and bring the best of our experiences to Montreal!

After years of development and creativity, bang bang, the lights are finally coming on.

Bambino is the timeless, romanticized aesthetic of Italian high society, defined by the 1950s and 1960s, known as La Dolce Vita.

At the same time it’s a modern twist on Italian warm minimalism that evokes soulful comfort and understated luxury.

At first glance these two styles are at odds with each other, but look more closely and what you’ll see is a design that comes together like the Tarantella. A traditional Italian dance that brings two individuals together through rhythmic movements and ever increasing allure.

That is Bambino. The best of both worlds.

The intersection of classic and modern, overstated yet minimalist, extravagant yet inviting, cool yet you can feel that sophisticated warmth.

This is the culmination of our life’s work. Years of training and preparation have brought us here.

A million lessons learned become one singular concept harnessed.

Now we are only weeks away.

Non vediamo l’ora di condividerla con voi. A presto.

Signed John Gumbley, @chefandrewba and the entire Bambino/JEGantic famiglia.

I still remember my first night at @muziquemontreal on December 17, 2010—nearly 15 years ago. What an incredible adventure it has been since then! Muzique is more than just a venue—it’s where unforgettable nights, lifelong friendships, core memories and milestones for me and countless others were created.

This is where I took my first real steps into the industry, bringing thousands of students every year and organizing weekly party buses that filled the streets with energy. Muzique is where I found my passion for nightlife and where @johnnygumbley and @jasontothetull saw that passion in me, introducing me to the incredible group of people who would become my partners, friends, and ultimately the foundation of what our group is today.

So much has happened within these walls at the end of Saint Laurent, and for that, I am beyond grateful.

To every server, bartender, security, bus boy, DJ, promoter, host, client, and friend who has been part of Muzique’s story over the last 16 years—thank you.

Here’s to the memories, and moments.

Cheers, Muzique! by @kajekandiah

It’s been a long time coming but now we can officially announce @bambino_mtl from @jeganticgroup …. Our first Italian restaurant/cocktail bar/enoteca. We spent 3 years finding the perfect location to launch what we hope will be one of our biggest successes. Get ready for another 10,000 square feet of venue that will make our wildest dreams realities once again!

I’d like to welcome @chefandrewba as an official partner. After years of hard work, determination and possibly 6-7 mental breakdowns😂😂….we are almost there brother.

Remember pressure, stress and impossible situations are what make us able to do today what we couldn’t yesterday. There is no growth or evolution without trials and tribulations, only comfort. We are who we are because we are comfortable being uncomfortable❤️

Can’t wait for this next step.
@kajekandiah here we go again 🤝

By the way, I’ve been back from vacation for 3 days. Time is all we have, use it wisely. by @kajekandiah
