What were your thoughts AT THIS POINT?! No spoilers!👀😭

I’m starting to question how the Inner Circle treats Nesta.

There’s a difference between holding someone accountable and helping them heal. Am I being too hard on the Inner Circle, or do y’all see it too?! 👀

I do agree with you 100% BUT they basically said they weren't gonna pay for her to drink her life away they tried to give her space and understand but she was self distructing. So they took their money away said they can't support her if she continues down this path. In the end nesta did need tough love. Do I like the way they did it no. It was shitty. But nesta wasn't going to change her ways unless they stepped in.

This guy is less than half way in and has an understanding of Nesta's character one thousand times deeper than many who've read the book four times 👏👏👏 And he hasn't even really gotten into Cassian's role in this all

I support this message! I couldn’t agree with you more. I’m pretty shocked by the inner circle myself. Side note: You always do such an amazing job thinking through these characters and bringing empathy to their flaws. I always look forward to your hot takes as I also read Along!

This book made me understand Nesta. By the end of the book I liked Nesta. Can't wait till you get to book 6 because I'm 42% in and I want to face punch everyone except Feyre, Nesta, and Mor. 😂

As much as I love these books... Sometimes I feel like Maas doesn't even know her own characters. What you're describing and some of the start of ACOSH just has me feeling character development whiplash.

I must be the devil because I think the inner circle gave her too much compassion. They let her treat them like dirt for too long. It could never be me.
