Here’s my surprisingly medium-effort Halloween “costume” - that’s right, your spherical sewist friend is a jolly pumpkin. The jumper skews red in photos but it’s a lovely deep burnt orange, and the appliqué is a gorgeous Japanese organic cotton from @merchantandmills in the “Wellington Check” pattern. I wanted to do a matching makeup look, but since my only plans for today were a nice walk in our favourite Oxford park before getting groceries, I just did a bit of greenery with a sadly long since unavailable matte deep green lipstick from Colourpop overlaid with Slime Drip lip oil from @unearthlycosmetics for maximum spooky sparkle. Felt cute, only dripped a tiny bit of coffee down the front of my jumper. 12/10 excellent costume, this is just part of my wardrobe now
