There’s something about reaching your 40s that changes the way you see life.

Not because you suddenly have everything figured out, but because you’ve lived enough to realize that you don’t have to.

You’ve loved, lost, started over, made mistakes, trusted the wrong people, questioned yourself, and perhaps spent years trying to live up to expectations that were never really yours.

And somewhere along the way, something shifts.

You become less interested in proving yourself and more interested in being yourself.

You realize that starting over isn’t failure. Changing your mind isn’t weakness. And choosing a different life doesn’t mean the one you lived before was a mistake.

You can be grateful for everything that brought you here and still want something different.

At 44, I’m not interested in having all the answers.

I’m interested in living a life that feels like mine. One with freedom, meaningful connections, laughter, love, adventure, and room to keep growing.

And if that means rewriting a few rules along the way, so be it.

The most beautiful thing about getting older isn’t knowing exactly who you are. It’s realizing you have the freedom to keep becoming. ❤️
