For this year’s Global Open Call, we’ve brought together an extraordinary jury from across fashion, photography, art, and visual culture. Voices that challenge conventions, question established narratives, and open up new ways of seeing.

Today, we’re introducing Olivia Anani (@outrenoirs).

A curator, writer, and art market expert, Olivia Anani works across contemporary art and international cultural institutions, with a particular interest in how art is valued, interpreted, and placed within a global context. Her work has brought greater attention to African modern and contemporary artists within the international art market, challenging established hierarchies of visibility and recognition. Her perspective on who gets seen, whose work enters the cultural canon, and how artistic value is defined makes her a compelling voice for Brave New Visions: Creativity as Rebellion.
