My commitment to the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference is unwavering. I have been associated with this great party for the last 25 years, and my loyalty to its leadership, its principles and its people has never wavered.
I stand firmly with my beloved leader, Jenab Dr Farooq Abdullah Sahab, and our Hon’ble Chief Minister, Jenab Omar Abdullah Sahab. Whatever I am today, whatever recognition I have earned, is because of the trust, affection and guidance of my leadership.
For me, the National Conference is not merely a political party; it is an emotion, a commitment and a part of my identity. My association with this party is built on conviction, sacrifice and an unbreakable bond of loyalty.
I owe everything I have achieved in public life to this party and its leadership. I will never turn my back on the people and the principles that have shaped my political journey.
Let me make it absolutely clear: I have no affiliation with any group or faction. My loyalty to Jenab Omar Abdullah Sahab and the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference is absolute and unconditional.

One of the finest leaders our district has witnessed is Mushtaq Guroo. His commitment to development, his dedication to serving people, and his vision of developing the constituency as if it were his own home truly reflect his connection with the people. He has been a true representative of the Chanapora Constituency. Such dedication to public service deserves appreciation.

One of the worst decisions Uptown people made was electing Mushtaq Guroo as MLA. People trusted him, but what has he delivered beyond reels and publicity? Macadamised roads alone don’t define development, especially in 2026. Mark my words: InshaAllah, this will be your first and last term. Uptown deserves an honest, accountable representative, not someone who fails to live up to people’s trust.

Sir, you are truly deserving of the title “Mr. Development” in our Chanapora Conestuency. You have done tremendous work for the people, and we have even greater expectations from you. You are not called “Mr. Development” without reason. We have seen many MLAs in the past, but we have never seen an MLA like you. Sir, you are loyal, honest, and dedicated to serving the people.
