Tom’s choice of Blackbird was a stroke of genius. It allowed Cate to channel the icon lyrics of this song, tapping into her emotions and creating a masterpiece. Her performance was powerfully touching, unforgettable. Congratulations to both of you on a well deserved win! 🎶♥️🙏🌹🎶

What does Sir Tom Jones smell like? The Voice UK's Cate McHugh knows the answer 🌶️
Well that escalated quickly!? What a night ❤️ I'm so glad to have met and shared this journey with @amalia.estradas and @mollyjofficial and SO SO many other amazing artists! What an absolute ride we've had ❤️ Let's go to the finals! #thevoice #teamtom
It's tomorrow!! 8.30pm @thevoiceuk on @itv . Tune in to hear me sing for a place in the finals! ❤️#teamtomjones #thevoiceuk
Why did I stop playing instruments? When I started to lose my sight, I was performing on cruise ships, which meant I was singing a repertoire of 800+ songs ... I seem to have the memory to remember the lyrics but remembering chord structures on top of that was a bit too much for me! I stopped playing my instruments live because I couldn't see my fingers on the instrument or the chord charts on the iPad... In some ways I grew as a performer, singing without my instrument in front of me. However it did mean that I stopped practising so I stopped playing.... And here we are, 8 years later. And I realised how much I miss playing my instruments! Join me on the journey of starting back up again, holding myself accountable, and seeing what comes out ❤️ #sightloss #blindmusician #thevoiceuk #vulnerable
