This weekend, Maria Popova featured the Young People's Chorus of New York City on The Marginalian. 🕊️

"Meteor of Joy" is original music composed for YPC by Paola Prestini, setting six of Maria's bird divinations, poems by Maria Popova. Our young artists, conducted by YPC's Caitlin Henning, gave them voice.

Maria wrote that our singers sang "with their commanding innocence and their tender power." Reading that, I felt it all over again. Thank you, Maria and Paola, for trusting our singers with something so beautiful.
