A year ago I moved to California while simultaneously building my own online counseling practice. Immigrating to a different country + becoming self-employed at the same time is challenging to say the least. And even though there are still a million more things I want to do in this life, I feel so grateful for where I am now compared to ten, five and even one year ago and so glad for sticking through it all even when it was hard or felt like it wasn’t going to work out (I had A LOT of moments of doubt by the way).

Life happens so fast that we tend to forget to pause and reflect on how far we have already come. There is always another thing to do or to achieve, but for your own sake remember to be grateful for what has already happened and present with the life that is unfolding in front of you.

And be more proud of yourself 🌞
