Roseville High School students got a hands-on look at careers in Building & Construction! The Placer Workforce Development Foundation, the Roseville Area Chamber of Commerce's 501c3, brought students to the Roseville Venture Lab to try on VR headsets loaded with software that lets them experience the industry firsthand. They stepped into the shoes of broadband construction workers, carpenters, HVAC technicians, and more to explore their options after graduation. Afterward, students sat down with local business leaders Jarod Heath of Greyscale Architecture, Inc, Noah Duncan of Lawson SSPGroup, and Isaac Mendoza of IMC Builders for a Q&A about the day-to-day work at their businesses and advice on what comes next. Then students were able to hear from Manuel Fierro, an Enrollment Specialist with Sierra College, to go over next steps after graduation. Special Thank You to our Sponsor, Golden Sierra Job Training Agency. Watch as these students explore what's possible!
