YOU ARE ALL INVITED!!!! please join me and friends THIS TUESDAY 11.3 at @troublepdx to celebrate the releasing of my debut album: Oregon Country !!!! i am so excited for this body of work to finally be out and finally be all ours. this is my ode to the political landscape in which i grew up in and the ways the PNW has shaped me as person. i do not think we get it right every time but the policy i have gotten to work on in our state has lead the way for many others and i think that is deeply connected to the creativity and freedom we see expressed in Portland and beyond. we have such a flourishing art community and while there’s plenty more work to be done, im not surprised Portland is where weirdos and outcasts come to feel welcomed. and i do think that is a pilar of our politics and community. LETS CELEBRATE THAT!!!!
