As part of the # Time Together campaign with Women in Sport, BF is encouraging members to submit stories relating to mothers and daughters fencing with each other or with other female role models.

While many find their bond on the piste, Abigail, BF's Events Manager, and her mum Caroline found theirs behind the scenes at the Para European Fencing Championships in Cardiff.

Managing a major international event is a monumental task, but for Abigail, this event came with a unique twist because her mum was right there beside her as a volunteer.
