From Dar es Salaam to the Albufeira 🇵🇹, carrying aspirations of 80,000+ Tanzanian young women ✈️

This week, @herinitiative is at the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐎𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐥𝐛𝐮𝐟𝐞𝐢𝐫𝐚, 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐥, a global gathering of leaders working to end poverty and injustice. We are not going to listen only. We are going to share how structural barriers and systemic inequalities hinders young women from realising their dreams.

Our Learn → Earn → Lead blueprint is the model we are carrying into every conversation. Learn builds her skills and knowledge of her rights. Earn turns them into income. Lead puts her in charge of the decisions that shape her future.

When the people who fund, build, and connect the sector sit in one room, the aspirations of the young women we serve should be in the conversation too.
