Livin Gurashi Cairo is opening its doors for an unforgettable in-person watch party as part of Islamic Art Week 2026, and everyone is invited!
On Tuesday, 17th November 2026, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm (EET), creatives, curious minds, and art lovers will gather for a soulful evening of connection, craft, and calm. Together, they’ll join a live session with paper artist Zahra Ammar, a self-taught talent whose intricate quilled and 3D geometric wall sculptures have been exhibited from Texas to Mumbai and commissioned by institutions like the Crocker Art Museum.
🌿 The Art of Paper Quilling: Islamic Biomorphic Design
Guests will discover how flowing, nature-inspired patterns come to life, one rolled paper strip at a time. Beginners are more than welcome, and no experience is needed, only an open heart and a little curiosity.
