Today, Adele and I drove out to meet friends at Navajo Lake, which is about 40 minutes from us. We then drove back and walked the dogs and then had some rain followed by the most beautiful rainbow that we’ve ever seen. #MountainLiving #LovinUtah. #RetiredLife taken in Brian Head, Utah by @p045481

Today was an amazing day! Played golf with my best buddies today, PAUL, Beau, John @Cedar Ridge Golf ⛳️ Course! While I was playing, I got the amazing news from Adele, that Koby is okay 👍 The cancer was low-grade and they got all of it. They don’t think it will come back. We pray that we have many more years with him. Also, we got to hang up our sheet metal barn quilt that we painted at #theburgerbarnpanguitchlake OnSaturday. I think it looks pretty good just above our front door at our cabin. So glad that Koby is OK. 👍 thanks so much for all of your thoughts and prayers. Beautiful afternoon of fishing 🎣 at Yankee Meadows. We caught 4 trout but kept 2 good sized ones for dinner tonight! This afternoon, Adele and I took our side by side up to High Mountain 🏔️, which looks out to the backside of Cedar Breaks National Monument. Caught some more of the fall foliage ! We also saw a few deer 🦌 along the way. Today, we had such an amazing day! It took us five hours to complete our quilt sheet metal painting. Thanks so much, Tara for showing us how to do it! You’re an amazing teacher! This was all part of our favorite burger joint, #theburgerbarnpanguitchlake having an amazing Oktoberfest celebration, combined with booths, amazing food, music 🎵,petting zoo, and people could get a carriage ride, pulled by Clydesdales! We also ran into our good friends Katrine and Greg. On the way back, we also got to stop off the highway and see the peak of foliage.
