My first-ever Fleet Week Air Show in San Francisco — absolutely breathtaking! ❤️�

San Francisco Fleet Week is an annual event that celebrates the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard, honoring the men and women who serve in the U.S. military and maritime services.

It usually takes place in October, bringing the city to life with spectacular aircraft displays, military ship visits, and public events along the waterfront.

The highlight for many visitors is the Air Show, especially the famous Blue Angels, the U.S. Navy’s flight demonstration squadron. Their precision flying, incredible speed, and coordinated formations make the show an unforgettable experience.

🏰 Krujë — a charming historic town with cobblestone streets, the famous bazaar and Krujë Castle.

🌿 Shkodër — one of Albania’s oldest cities.

From here, you can take a day trip to the breathtaking Shala River, often called a hidden paradise, with crystal-clear turquoise water surrounded by dramatic mountains. 💙🏔️
* 🚤 From Koman to Shala River: you must continue by boat across Komani Lake; there is no road directly to the river. The boat ride is around 1–1¼ hours.

🪟 Berat — the “City of a Thousand Windows” 🤍 A UNESCO World Heritage town with beautiful Ottoman houses climbing the hills. Walk through the old town and go up to Berat Castle for the sunset.

🌊 Dhërmi — completely different again… turquoise water, sparkling sea, mountains and that relaxed Mediterranean feeling. Perfect for slowing down, enjoying the beach and simply taking in God’s beautiful creation. ✨

Today we took a boat deep into the Albanian mountains, heading towards the beautiful Shala River. 🚤🇦🇱

The journey itself was already an experience — surrounded by dramatic cliffs, untouched nature..

One of those places where you simply stop, look around and think: how beautiful is God’s creation.
