Happy Women’s Day from me & my sis. <3

“Being and non-being create each other. Difficult and easy support each other.” Lao Tzu

This collaborative work explores the duality of presence and absence. It carries a unique history: during its creation, a bat entered our studio and struck the center of the wet canvas before vanishing. Months later, at the close of our exhibition at @ch64gallery , the same visitor returned circling the room as the final guest of the night.

In many traditions, the bat is a guardian of transition and a symbol of the feminine soul, navigating the unseen with intuition. We’ve come to see it as a wild, feminine energy that chose to leave its mark on our shared canvas.
