📢 New edition of Amber by Jaakko Pallasvuo will be on sale throughout the exhibition (16€ / MobilePay)

Amber is a collection of texts written by Jaakko under the pseudonym @avocado_ibuprofen and published by @rroseeditions. The cover features a sculpture by @mattisumari, which was exhibited at Pitted Dates earlier this year 😘

🪩 Ensi viikolla juhlitaan uudistunutta Taide-lehteä – tervetuloa syksyn odotetuimpiin taidebileisiin @p1tted_dates gallerialle perjantaina 25. syyskuuta klo 18–21! 🪩 
🎞 Julkkareiden erikoisuutena nähdään elokuvaperformanssi Kolmas näytös (2026, 17 min). Kolmen 16 mm projektorin ja kelanauhurin varaan rakentuvan live-esityksen on luonut @elk_laboratorio ensemble Joona Mäkelä, Natalia Koziel-Kalliomäki, Lasse Vairio, Joakim Pusenius ja Sanna Liljander. Esitys alkaa auringonlaskun jälkeen noin klo 19.30. 
Illan aikana voit napata mukaasi uutta Taide-lehden merchandisea, uunituoreen Momentti-teemaisen syysnumeron sekä tutustua galleriassa esillä olevaan Automatia-ryhmänäyttelyyn. 
Tule tapaamaan lehden tekijöitä ja nostamaan malja uudelle Taiteelle!

It's the final week of @else.collective 's summer residency, and there will be a small finissage on Sunday 9th, with a portable grill and some drinks available between 1pm to 4pm! BYOB and things to grill 🌞

Else Collective: Yet, Still
27.6.2026 – 9.8.2026

During the summer residency, six artists progress works, revealing processes and fixed outcomes simultaneously. The works shift, accumulate, and find new forms, tracing themes of waiting, in-betweenness, and becoming—waiting for something that might already be here.

Artists: Aala Nyman, Andrea Coyotzi Borja, Alexandra Mitiku, Dud Nabel, Phan Nguyen, Soko Hwang, Helena Pulkkinen

Else Collective is an art collective that engages with heterogeneous cultures through multidisciplinary practices across exhibitions, events, and collaborative projects. Else creates spaces for experimental artistic practices. Based in Helsinki and founded in 2022, the collective comprises artists and curators Soko Hwang, Laura Bestle Morales, Trang Chung, Aala Nyman, and Phan Nguyen.

Victor Gogly’s paintings explore the shifting boundaries between human, animal, and non-human forms. Within layered pictorial spaces, bodies transform and interact, suggesting a more entangled relationship between living beings and their environments.

Hermanni Saarinen’s sculptures draw inspiration from musical composition—how individual sounds, pauses, and shifts gradually form a coherent whole. Working primarily with pine, Saarinen constructs sculptures from interrelated elements that echo one another through repetition and serial proportions.
