4 years ago I just met him a month ago and today on this day in 2022 he brought me to the airport for my holiday in Spain. We were so in love!
Now I'm in Spain again and it is time to close this book.
The last 9 months I have seen his true colors. He used me for months, betrayed me, dumped me in 5 seconds and then discarded me. Never asked how I felt after this sudden breakup, and even after my operation there was no message :,(
He turned out to be a big time narcissist but still he left a big big hole in my heart because I loved him. I cried for weeks, I missed him so much and the discard really broke me and left a deep scar that will never heal. Still in full disbelief that someone you love can handle the way he did, it's traumatic...

I really tried to go on with my life too, just like he did, but my very own house feels no good anymore. When I open my door I feel he's still on my couch playing his goddamn videogame, so the last few months I fled out of my house as much as possible trying not to think about him all day long.

And now I really hope the cleansing with sage last week helped and for sure I hope when I come back from Spain his ghost will be definitive out of my house and I can feel joy again in my own crib.

For now, end of this era, time to move on from this terrible part of my life! 4 years wasted...
Looking forward to have a wonderfull time again in my beloved Spain and with my beloved beautiful friends ♡

A sunday with @riannevangestel75 in Maastricht.
After a good beginning with coffee/coke and for me of course a real Limburgse rijstevlaai at a bakery we walked for hours in the beautiful surrounding of the city. What an awesome view we had on top of the St Pietersberg!
Later on we had dinner at Het Vrijthof at a restaurant with a very lovely name ♡
We ended with a pornstar martini and a little walk back to the trainstation.

This week was the last week I could enjoy the monthly discount the @ns_online offered this summer.
So on monday I went to Scheveningen with Koen, we had a yummie lunch and had a nice beachwalk and a beautiful sunset.
On tuesday I went to Vlissingen for everything this town offers. Unfortunately I was too late to return the bike at Vlissingen central station so I had to take it to Tilburg to return in there.
On thursday I went to Amsterdam and visited the Stedelijk Museum. Always a pleasure! And afterwards a little boattrip to Pllek for a nice white wine with a view in the late afternoon sun.
Lovely last week of august!

Valencia!! More than a year ago I booked this 6 days trip mainly for the eclips on 12 augustus. The spacious AirBnB apartment was a real gem, real authentic spanish!
The eclips was an indescribable experience!! I watched it on a nice roofterrace an tried to make some pictures lol.
I visited some beautiful museums and ofcourse also the beach. But above all I once again enjoyed just wandering around the city and tasted lovely food!

El dia de eclipse!!
In the early afternoon I went to @playamalvarrosa before it got really busy. Had a coke and some boquerones con pan. #nomnomnom. Walked a little bit more to @Patagonaplaya for some nice chillin' in the shade.
And then the evening comes.. weeks ago I made a reservation at the skybar of the Novotel. What a good place to experience it all!!

Evelyn rented an apartment for a small week and I stayed with her for 3 days. On day 1 we walked through the beautiful city center to the MAS museum. 7 stories of very different art. And a very welcome airco! In the evening we met with @ayesha_lavell for dinner and drinks at restaurant Dansing Chocola. So good to see her again!
The next day we explored another side of town and came across @paktantwerpen what a hidden gem! In the evening we had sushi, nomnomnom!
Day 3 we walked through the Sint-Annatunnel beneath de river to the other side of the river Schelde and had a long walk there. There is even a small beach. And we ended ofcourse with a Belgium frietje. It's a must-eat when visiting Belgium.

What a wonderful weekend in Zeeland! Bertjan and Agnes rented a holidayhome for a week at a camping in Colijnsplaat (BJ was born nearby in Kortgene) on the small isle Noord-Beveland and I stayed 2 nights with them. In the morning I took the e-bike of Bertjan and explored the surroundings a bit. In the afternoon we went to @peerock_festival. That was fun!!
Saw my heroes Rinus and Cesar of @4goldenearring. Their music is the soundtrack of my life, I will always love them!
Thanks BJ and @antoinetta_inthe_green for your very pleasant company, the very welcome chats and the many laughs! And ofcourse: de zeeuwse bolussen!!

A few days unwinding at Piet and Anne-Marie's "common farm turned into a paradise" in Ruurlo, the Netherlands. Always a privilege to be at this wonderful place with these wonderful women.
