You don’t change overnight. You change by showing up.I didn’t wake up one day and become this. I became this by choosing myself everyday, especially on the days I didn’t feel like it. Keep showing up. One day you’ll look back and thank yourself for not quitting. From 228lbs to 152lbs.Your life will never revolve around what you do when others are watching, but what you do when NO ONE is watching, that is who you TRULY are. You are your biggest enemy, your biggest critic, your biggest obstacle to overcome, but everyday you have to ask yourself, How bad do you really want it? Life will always tests what you ask for out of it and see if it's what you truly want. Not through your words, but through your actions. BE GREAT! 04.26.262026 Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon.The RETURN ‼️ 5 months ago, I lost myself.When an Achilles and soleus injury took me out, and just like that, the one thing I loved most was gone. I missed the race (The Lifetime Miami Full Marathon) that got me into running, the goal that built my discipline, the early mornings, the late nights, the grind on days I didn’t feel like showing up.For a while, I couldn’t see the light at the end of the tunnel.Sleepless nights. Pain. Doubt. Moments no one saw but me.But through it all, I learned something:It had to happen.Because who I became in the process, what I learned, what I endured, it shaped and built me into who I needed to be for what’s ahead.5 months later on this course…The 2026 Brooklyn Half Marathon is one I’ll never forget. It gave me back something I thought I lost.The freedom and joy I feel when im out there running. To everyone that's been a part of this journey with me, who's helped me in any sort of way, encouraging messages, love, support, strength training, therapy, recovery, etc.. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you. and above all, thank you to the man up above because this process reminded me of something I had almost forgotten, that not only does everything happen for a reason, but that even when I dont see it He's working, He goes before me, and there's no test He gives me that He doesn't already know im capable of overcoming because in Christ, I have already been declared Victorious.
